Hoichoi will bring a forthcoming Bengali thriller suspense web series Anusandhan that will premiere on 7th November. The series takes place in a women only prison where there are unexplained pregnancies despite the absence of men. Subhashree Ganguly plays the journalist role in this series and confronts unsettling circumstances, such as seeing her own mirror in an inmate. Aditi Roy directs the series.

Story /Plot
Based on Kallol Lahiri’s novel of the same name, Anusandhan follows the journey of journalist Anumita Sen who decides to expose a sinister conspiracy. While investigating within the prison, she finds herself tortured and betrayed. She also discovers supernatural incidents happening with the prisoner. Things take a turn when Anumita has to fight with the system to protect her unborn baby.
