Story/Plot
Deva, a former coolie union leader and boarding house operator, is the main character of the story. As he begins to check into the inexplicable death of his friend, he finds himself in the middle of a hazardous underworld of traffickers and smugglers who want to kill him. With the help of his friend’s daughter, Deva also ventures into this perilous underground to find the truth. Along the way, he encounters treachery, grief, and violent confrontations in the build-up to a popular, enjoyable movie epic that follows the finest traditions of Indian cinema.
