A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms is a new American drama-fantasy series released on 18 January on the HBO Max app. The series is a prequel to Game of Thrones (2011–2019) and is an adaptation of the popular novel Tales of Dunk and Egg. It starts with Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell in the lead roles. The series 2nd season will probably be released in 2027.

Before a century of Game of Thrones, there were two heroes, one was a brave young Knight named Ser Duncan the Tall and his diminutive squire, Egg. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.
