He is best known for his role as Abhishek Gokhale in the Hindi television show Bhakharwadi in 2019. Akshay also took part in Colors Marathi’s reality show Bigg Boss Marathi Season 4 and won the title in 2022. Since 2025, Akshay has been playing his role as Aarush Walawalker in Star Pravah’s show Kajalmaya opposite Ruchi Jail.
