Story

Bison is based on the true story of Kabaddi player Manathi Ganeshan, which takes place in the 1990s amid district conflicts and caste based violence. The film centers on a teenage Kabaddi player from Tamil Nadu’s underprivileged society who aspires to represent India. To accomplish his objectives, he must overcome severe caste-based social injustice, local group conflicts, landlord persecution, and opposition from his family. His journey of resiliency, identification, and social change is the film’s high point.
