Career
Kalki was fond of acting from a young age. For that reason. She graduated in drama from Goldsmiths, University of London. She also worked in local theatre to improve her acting skills

In 2007, Kalki started her acting career with the film Laaga Chunari Mein Daag. But she got praise when she played the role of Chandramukhi in the film Dev.D (2009). For her role, she won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Filmfare Awards.
