Story
The show centers on Amrita, a young woman whose life changes drastically when she must choose between love and family obligations. Sangamarmar, which is set in two 25 year timeframes, examines how a single choice can affect how your entire life unfolds. Amrita, a lively young woman, and Aditya have a sweet, developing romance that is based on respect, love, and understanding. However, at a crucial juncture, Amrita is compelled by family obligations and society’s expectations to put her family’s necessities ahead of her own romantic aspirations. Their young love becomes a story of waiting, patience, and sacrifice as a result of their decision, which sends them in different directions.
