Story
The story of Subedaar Arjun Maurya, a former soldier seeking serenity in a world that is changing and challenging the principles he once upheld, is told via his turbulent journey. The story explores his psychological challenges in civilian life as well as his strained bond with his daughter, Shyama. A brutal examination of honor and redemption results from Arjun’s forced confrontation of both his own demons and external threats as social deterioration and corruption threaten his home. The film, which is set in the Indian heartland, explores honor amid social deterioration in a dramatic, gritty, and cinematic way.
